Black Penny Villas Ubud - Ubud (Bali)

The spacious air-conditioned rooms at Black Penny Villas Ubud were absolutely amazing! They had a cozy and relaxed vibe, with wooden interiors and thatched roofs that made me feel like I was staying in a tropical paradise. The private pools and premium bedding added a touch of luxury to the whole experience. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay!

If I had to pick something I liked less about my stay, I would say that the private terrace facing the river in my air-conditioned unit was not as private as I had hoped. But hey, that's just my personal opinion and I'm sure others would still appreciate the scenic view.

The view from our villa was absolutely breathtaking, offering complete serenity and a sense of peace. We were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast in bed every morning, adding a touch of luxury to our romantic escape. The location of the hotel was perfect, nestled in a secluded area that provided privacy and tranquility.

One drawback was the cleanliness of the villa upon arrival. The pillows had a strange odor and the net curtains were dirty.

The constant sound of rapids and the green scenery were just perfect for relaxation. Loved the private terraces and plunge pools. The jungle valley and river views were amazing. Restaurant served delicious food. a great place to unwind.

Oh just loved it when people from the rafting path stared at me in the pool. So much fun!

I had an incredible stay at this hidden gem nestled amongst the lush hillsides. The breathtaking views of the valley and river from my room were simply mesmerizing. The staff provided faultless service, explaining all the facilities and transportation options clearly. The private pool was a luxury, and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was indulgent with a beautiful bath for a relaxing soak. I even received a surprise turn-down service with flowers and towel origami. The location was strategic, with plenty of activities to do in the area.

The limited shuttle service to and from the hotel was a bit inconvenient, especially in the evenings when I wanted to enjoy the pool until later.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleased with the beautiful villa and its spaciousness. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, ensuring our comfort throughout our 4-night stay. We particularly enjoyed the option of having breakfast served either at the restaurant or in our personal villa. The breakfast selections were decent, and we appreciated the effort made to ensure we were well-fed before exploring Bali.

There were a few aspects that could be improved during our stay. the hot water supply was sporadic and required manual intervention from the staff.

The villas offer breathtaking views, private outdoor bathrooms, and in-room spa services. Breakfast options are plentiful and the staff is friendly and attentive. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the city center with assistance in arranging transportation and activities. A truly special place to relax and unwind with your partner.

I couldn't have asked for a more romantic surprise for my husband's birthday. Black Penny Villas were great too make it special. They decorated our room with beautiful flowers and even prepared a cake with candles. The view from our room was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
